Week 14 - Two Weeks Left!
It was a great weekend of races on our home course! I was so proud of all of you, you did a whole lot of dragon slaying.
This week is going to be a good time to make sure all of your equipment is in good working order and you are doing each day of training with a purpose and a plan.
It is a first week of Taper. What that means is we will be scaling back on the length of our practices. This will give you some extra time. Please use it for good and not evil! This means eating well, getting home work done and taking naps.
Here's the scoop!
Monday: Classic Ski / 20 min. Warm Up / 30 min. Sharpening Drills / 10 min. Cool Down
Tuesday: Skate Ski / 20 min. Warm Up / 10 x 1 min. Intervals / 10 min. Cool Down
Wednesday: Classic Ski / 1:15 Over Distance Ski
Thursday: Yoga 5:45 in the Lab School Gym or Rest Day!
Friday: Skate Ski / 20 min. Warm Up / Game / 10 min. Cool Down
Saturday: No Practice / Rest Day or Active Recovery - meaning really easy relaxing ski on your own.
