10th Week - Home Race!

 I really can't believe we are headed into the 10th week of our season!  That means after this week we only have 5 weeks left!  That is crazy!  That being said I am so stoked to be able to get back to training with you all.  In the next few weeks, we are really going to be honing in on some technique work and working on gaining some more speed.

Here is what training will look like this week:

Monday am:  Core & Yoga on Your Own
Monday pm:  Skate Skiing / 20 min. Warm-Up / Balance and Timing Technique Work / 10 min. Cool Down

Tuesday am:  20 – 30 min. Run On Your Own
Tuesday pm:  Classic Skiing / 20 min. Warm-up / Ski the course & 15 min. Natural Intervals / 10 min. Cool Down

Wednesday am:  Core and Yoga on Your Own
Wednesday pm:  Skate Skiing /  20 min. Warm-up / Ski the course & Zone 1 race / 10 min. Cool Down

Thursday pm: Waxing & 30 - 40 min. Run

Friday am:  Leave to head up to HJ at 10:30 am

Friday, January 21st 

-   Course is open for inspection at 11:00 am

-   Bibs will be delivered by 12:00 pm

-   Course will remain open. Please yield to racers at all times!

-   Start Time - 1:00 pm

-   Skate Race: 5k Varsity,  3k Jr. Varsity 

-   Mass Start

-   Order of start

  • Varsity Girls 1:00

  • Varsity Boys 1:30

  •  JV Girls 1:45

  • JV Boys 2:00


Saturday, January 22nd


Meet at the High school at 7:15 am!


-   Course is open for inspection at 8:00 am

-   Bibs will be delivered by 9:00 am

-   Course will remain open. Please yield to racers at all times!

-   Start Time - 10:00

-   Skate Race: 7.5k Varsity,  5k Jr. Varsity 

-   Interval starts:  1 skier every 15 seconds 

-   Order of start

  • Varsity Boys 

  • Varsity Girls

  •  JV Boys

  • JV Girls
