5th Week - Cody Race!

 We did it!  We got on snow for the first time last week and it was magical!  It definitely reminded me why we are doing all this hard training.  This is going to be a busy week and once again the weather is a little bit up in the air.  Please note all training subject to change due to weather. 

Also!  We are going to have a race in Cody!  Yay!!  That means we are going to be leaving on Thursday morning so please make sure you have all your schoolwork done and you are able to go! 

Here is the tentative training for the week:

Monday AM:  20 - 30 min. Run-on your own 

Monday PM:  Core & Yoga at 3:30 in the Yellow Pod, Nutrition Tip #2! 

Tuesday PM:  20 min. Warm-up Run / Strength Circuit OR Classic technique work / 10 min. Cool Down 

Wednesday AM:  20 - 30 min. Run-on your own

Wednesday PM:  20 min. Warm-Up Run / 40 min. Hill Resistance Training running or Classic skiing / 10 min. Cool Down Run (Bring your Poles!)

Tuesday PM:  20 min. Warm-up Run / Strength Circuit OR Skate technique work / 10 min. Cool Down 

Thursday:  Leave for Cody at 7:00 am from LHS ski room / Wax and 30 - 40 min. Run!

Friday & Saturday Race!

Saturday:  Return home @ around 10:00 pm

Sunday:  Day off!
