6th & 7th Week - Winter Break Practices

Greetings Skiers! 

I can't believe we are headed into winter break! The season is going so quickly! It is important to keep training through the break so you don't lose the fitness you have gained. Also, this is a great time to get a lot of skiing. All of the practices over the break will be from 8:30 to noon.

Here is the training for the next 2 weeks:

12/23/24 Monday: NO PRACTICE / SKI ON YOUR OWN!  1:30 OD Classic Ski / 20 min. no pole work / Trail challenge try to ski as many trails as you can!

12/24/24 - Tuesday am: Core and Yoga ON YOUR OWN
Tuesday pm:  NO PRACTICE / SKI ON YOUR OWN! Skate Ski / 1:15 Focus on V2 Alt. here is a video from Andy Newell https://youtu.be/PQh5pIBrPVM

12/25/24 - Wednesday am:  NO PRACTICE / SKI ON YOUR OWN! / Classic Ski / 20 min. Warm-up / 35 min. Hill resistance / 10 min. Cool down / Done by 1:00 pm

12/26/24 - Thursday am:  MEET AT THE SKI ROOM @ 8:30 AM /Skate Ski / 1:15 Over Distance / Done by 1:00 pm
Thursday pm:  Yoga and Core ON YOUR OWN

12/27/24 - Friday am:  MEET AT THE SKI ROOM @ 8:30 AM / 1:15 Classic OD Ski! / Done by 1:00 pm
Friday pm:  30 min. Run ON YOUR OWN  

Saturday: MEET AT THE SKI ROOM @ 8:30 AM / 5K Skate Time Trial 
 
Sunday:  Off!

12/30/24 Monday: MEET AT THE SKI ROOM @ 8:30 AM / Classic Ski / 20 min. Warm-up / Technique work / 10 min. Cool down

12/31/24 - Tuesday am: Core and Yoga ON YOUR OWN
Tuesday pm:  NO PRACTICE / SKI ON YOUR OWN! 1:15 OD Skate Ski  

1/1/25 - Wednesday am:  Waxing for Pinedale at time TBA pm

1/2/25 - Leave for Pinedale at 8:30 am
