Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know a few events that are going on at Basecamp for nordic skiers and biathletes. There are more details on the flier so feel free to pass it on to your teams and organizations.

Saturday 5/19/18 9-11 am Drop in rollerskiing workshop and in-store demo. This event is free, and we're actually going to push back our clothing racks so people can rollerski in our shop! We'll talk rollerskiing safety, where to ski, and how to incorporating rskiing into a training program. We'll also be spending the day renting rollerskis to any skiers looking to get some summer training in. Rental rates and more about the event are attached.

Sunday 5/10/18 1-3 pm Summer storage wax workshop for athletes looking to learn how to prep their ski bases for the summer. We'll have a door prize and 4-5 wax bench stations set up in our store for skiers to stop by and work on their skis. We'll also have 2-3 ski techs on hand to walk them through the process and answer any questions. This event is free and open to anyone, even if they don't have their own skis to work on.

Sunday 5/27/18 2 pm. Presentation about adaptive skiing and the Paralympics by two-time Paralympian Bryan Price who lives and trains in Casper. Bryan competes in nordic skiing and biathlon using a sit-ski and his presentation will motivate all of us to train harder, set big goals and not listen to anyone telling us we can't.

After Memorial Day we'll be doing a group dryland training session for all ages and abilities every Wednesday evening at 5 pm where we'll focus on ski specific strength and agility. And then group rollerski sessions every Sunday morning at 9 am. Stay tuned for details.

We'd love to see you at 1 or all 3 events :)

Thanks so much,
Rebecca
