Week 12 - Jackson Race

Hi Everyone!  Hope that you all got rested up this week and you are ready for the final push of the season!  Brian and I have decided that we will be taking the Competitive and Elite teams to Jackson.  Please let me know on Monday if you are not planning to go to Jackson.  Here is the plan for the week: Monday:   Core/Yoga - Yellow Academic Pod / Affirmations and Mantras  Girls Night at Becca's!  6:30 pm Tuesday AM:   20 - 30 min. Run on Your Own Tuesday PM:   Skate Skiing / 30 min. Warm up / Agility and Technique / 15 min. Cool Down Wednesday AM:   20 min. Core on your own Wednesday:   Classic Skiing / 1:30 Over Distance Ski Thursday:   Leave for Jackson at 7:00 am / Wax / Run / Dinner Friday, Feb 1 - 7.5km Skate Race: mass start Course open for inspection: 10:00 AM Bibs available at Cabin: 11:00 AM National Anthem in Stadium: 12:30 PM Course Closed: 12:50 PM Start time: 1:00 PM- U20/U18/U16 girls ~1:45 PM- U20/U18/U16 boys Saturday, Feb 3 - 5km Classi

Week 11 - Mid Season Recovery

Monday:   No Practice Happy MLK Day!  Core and yoga on your own or take a nap!  Tuesday AM:     20 - 30 min. Run / Plyos on your own Tuesday PM:   Skate Skiing / 30 min. Warm up / 45 min. Technique and Agility / 15 min. Cool Down Wednesday AM:   20 min. Core on your own Wednesday:   No Practice! 1:15 OD ski on your own or take a nap! Thursday AM:   20 - 30 min. Run on your own / Plyos Thursday PM:   Classic Skiing / 30 min. Warm up /  4x3 min intervals  / 15 min. Cool Down Friday:   Skate Skiing /  30 min. Warm Up / Agility Course / 10 min. Cool Down *Friday Evening:  Team Dinner!!!!  Everybody is welcome!!!!  Saturday:   Freestyle  Skiing / Pole Mt Shuffle 5k or 10k - Meet at the bus at 8:00 am Race starts at 9:30.   * If you don't want to race that is fine!  You can come to do an over distance ski as well.   * If you are racing be ready to go!

Week 10 - Soldier Hollow Race

Guess what!  We are at Soldier Hollow week!  For those of you going we will be leaving at 7:00 am Thursday.  Please make sure you are communicating with your teachers.   Monday:   Core/Yoga - Yellow Academic Pod / Video work  Tuesday AM:   20 - 30 min. Run on Your Own Tuesday PM:   Skate Skiing / 30 min. Warm up / Sprint Race Practice / 15 min. Cool Down Wednesday AM:   20 min. Core on your own Wednesday:   Classic Skiing / 1:30 Over Distance Ski Thursday:   Leave for Soldier Hollow at 7:00 am Friday:   9:00 am Race Start / Freestyle Sprints  Saturday:  9:00 am Race Start / Classic / 5k for U16 10k U18-U20
